Fall is quickly upon us and our school year is in full swing! Thank you for all of you who joined us for Back to School Night and to those who supported our classroom libraries by purchasing books at our book fair. Every class received all of the books on their wish list! Thank you for your generosity!
This year our school theme is Children’s Literature! We will be making Creative Book Report type projects in the classroom all year long! To kick this off, Preschool and Elementary will have their first field trip to The Vista Public Library on October 3rd! We are excited to tour the library and participate in their storytime!
Our Jog-a-Thon is our annual school fundraiser here at MSO! The children will receive a pledge sheet and will collect pledges-either per lap or flat rate-the money raised will go toward classroom special purchases and activities for your child’s classroom! Be sure to join us for this fun event of October 25th at 8:30 am! Come cheer your jogger on or volunteer to help out in your child’s class! All are welcome!
BOXTOPS are due on October 25th too! The class that brings in the most BoxTops will get a pizza party. There is also a raffle ticket given for every 10 tickets turned in! Your child could win some fun raffle prizes!
