This time of year we look forward to baby animals, new plant life and warmer weather! We had unusu- ally wet weather this year so soon a lot of greenery and flowers will pop up all around us! We will celebrate the spring by planting in the garden and raising butterflies! Our first attempt to plant the garden was thwarted by hungry rabbits! Each of the pre-school classes and the Pre-Elementary classes planted young vegetables only to have the leaves eaten off by the rabbits that live next door in our park. We are working on a solution to that problem. We are determined to get some veggies growing soon!

We are ready for longer days be- ginning March 11th! Daylight savings means more playtime outside for us! That is our favorite!

St Patrick’s Day is coming and we will be having a parade. If the weather is nice, we will march through the shopping center. We will be cooking Irish food in the classrooms too! Please make sure your child dresses in all green on March 17th to make the celebra- tion colorful!

March 22nd and 23rd are the Orientations for Elementary and Pre-Elementary for the 2017-2018 School Year. Can you believe it? It is time to start planning the next step for you children who are currently in the Pre-Elementary Program and who are eligible for the Pre-Elementary (Kindergarten) program for next year. Be on the look out for an invitation for your child.
