Then sing, young hearts that are full of cheer, With never a thought of sorrow; The old goes out, but the glad young year .

Comes merrily in tomorrow ~Emily Miller

2016 was a wonderful year, filled with goals and milestones! Every moment was filled with lessons of love and life that has helped make us all who we are today! Our hope is that 2017 is filled with love and laughter and that we all grow to- gether in peace and harmony! Take time to enjoy the little things and little ones in your life! Before we know it, we will be wel- coming in 2018.

January is the beginning of our second semester of school. Report cards and developmental profiles will be given to you before the end of the month.

The weather can be very unpre- dictable this time of year. We recommend that your child is dressed in layers and always has a jacket at school. Please make sure everything is labeled!

School will be closed in obser- vance of Dr Marin Luther King, Jr’s Birthday. The children will be involved in lessons and projects to help them understand the amazing contributions Dr King made for Civil Rights and Non Violence.

Join us in welcoming this year in Joyfully! Unity is strength…when there is teamwork and collabora- tion, wonderful things can be achieved! ~Mattie Stepanek
