No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Aesop

As we enter the last month of the year let’s fill our hearts with love and light! Always remember when your world gets full of busy thoughts and actions that an act of kindness, no matter how small, will transform your worried, hurried mind, It is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season! Remember to treat yourself to these acts of kindness as well!

Here at MSO each classroom will “adopt” a child from Casa de Amparo. Each child has made a list, or a list has been made for them, with items that they need. We will also include some items that they want to help make their season bright., We hope to teach our children about the great feelings that come from being able to give to another person. Ms Sandy and her daughter Yvette will head up the project. We are so grateful to be included in this worthy cause!

This holiday season we will learn about winter celebrations from around the world, specifically from Japan and Mexico. On December 9th we will have a presentation about the winter celebration in Japan called Omisaka. and on December 12th we will learn about The Fiesta of our Lady of Guadalupe!

Each classroom will have a holiday party on December 16th that you and your family are invited to attend. We will have food, and a presentation by the children in the class! Be sure to mark your calendars for this warm, family event. We know the holidays are a busy time, but be sure to come and celebrate with us on this special day!

We will be closed for our Winter Break from December 26-30. We hope that you are able to spend this time surrounded by love and laughter!
