Fall is quickly upon us and our school year is in full swing! Thank you for all of you who joined us for Back to School Night and to those who supported our classroom libraries by purchasing books at our book fair. Thank you for your generosity!
This year has certainly felt strange and has brought many new routines to our lives! Thank you for follow- ing all of the procedures in place to keep our children safe!
Please be sure to keep your child home if they are sick. Runny noses and slight coughs that used to be okay to send children to school with are not okay now. We have to be cautious at this time, more than Ever! We know it is difficult, but it will be worth it in the end!
Our Jog-a-Thon is our annual school fundraiser here at MSO! The children have received a pledge sheet and will collect pledges-either per lap or flat rate-the money raised will go toward classroom special purchases and activities for your child’s classroom! This year is different because each class will come to the park, run at a specific time, and then return to their classrooms. We have a committee of parents that will help supervise at the park and they will count laps. If you would like to be on the committee, please let us know! Children will need to wear their yellow shirts for the event.
Please let us know if you will come for our “safe” trick or treat parade on October 30th. We encourage you to wear costumes as long as they are NOT scary AT ALL!!! We would love to see you all there!
