February 4, 2015 marks our 16th year here at Montessori School of Oceanside. We want to extend our thanks to you, our loving and supportive families, for being a part of our great school! We are so blessed to come here everyday and spend our days with your wonderful children. Here’s to many more years to come!
There are many more rea- sons to celebrate this month…Groundhog Day, Valen- tine’s Day, President’s Day, Fat Tuesday, and Chinese New Year are all in February! For being a short month, it sure is busy! We will have a party for Valentine’s Day on February 14th in each classroom. There is a sign-up sheet on the clipboard where you sign in. It will be a fun day to celebrate Love and Friendship!
Do you read to your child each night? No matter the age,all children benefit from hearing fluent readers. This exposes your child to quality literature that they may not be able to read and provides a special bonding time for you and your child. Just 20 minutes a night can make a world of difference!
We will be collecting Box Tops, please start collecting and lets make this a successful event.
Does your child arrive on time each day? Being punctual is an important life skill that chil- dren can learn at an early age. This helps students begin their day on a positive note. It will also help to reduce classroom inter- ruptions. If you need to visit with the teacher, please do so before school, after school. Thank you, as always, for supporting our school!
