April brings more sunshiny weather and happiness to Montessori School of Oceanside! We are so lucky to live in a place where the weather is so inspiring! Thank you all for attending our 1st ever “Children’s Literature Festival!” It was a rousing success. It was so fun to get to know the books that you are reading at home with your children. Thank you for sharing that part of your lives with us! Thank you to all of you who attended our orientation meetings too! If your child is changing from Preschool to Pre-Elementary, from Pre-Elementary to Lower Elementary, or from lower to upper elementary, please let us know if you have any questions about the program they are going in to. We are here for you to help you make the transition!
We have our Children’s Night coming up on April 15th. This is a great time for your child to show you all of the wonderful Montessori Materials that they work with throughout the day! Each of them has exciting classroom experiences to share with you!
Elementary testing will soon be upon us as well! The week of April 20th is when we start. This is the last year that we will be able to do the SAT 10 test. The tests are being updated next year. We will keep you posted on what is coming our way! Good luck to all of the testers! Please remember to send a jacket with your child in the morning. Our days do get sunny, but our playground is chilly when we go out in the morning before the sun has warmed up the Earth!
