Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. You can feel the magic in the air this time of year.  Be sure to take time to hug the ones you love and spend time creating happy memories with them.  The one thing you can never get more of is time.  It is easy to get caught up in the celebration spirit of the holidays and to forget nutrition.  Please remember that your child’s snack day is not a birthday party, or Christmas celebration.  It is a time to fuel our body with healthy foods that help us to think and grow.  We have been noticing a lot of cookies coming to school for snack time.  If you need ideas for healthy snacks to bring, please ask your child’s teacher! (or Google it!) . We don’t think of winter as being very cold and harsh, but for some people the nights are very cold and very long.  We know that at this time there are people who need our help.  We are collecting warm jackets, scarves, mittens and blankets for those less fortunate than us.  Please place your donation in the decorated box in the front lobby of the school.  We wish you and your family the happiest of holiday seasons!
